Puppies Under 5 Months Old

In this class we introduce basic obedience commands including controlled walking, sit, sit to be pet and sit-stay, down/stay, settle, stand-stay, coming when called, leave it, give, playing with your dog, puppy socialization and much more! Weekly topics of discussion will include crate training, housebreaking, grooming, and exercising your puppy. Attend all 6 classes and pass all the test items and receive the S.T.A.R. Puppy certification. Equipment needed for this class includes: 4-6 foot fabric or leather leash, plain buckle collar, soft treats, and a squeaky dog toy. All training is through reward and positive reinforcement.
