This is a NEW introductory class for any trainer who wants to learn how to start their dogs in Open and Utility. Basic concepts that will be taught are:

• What equipment is needed
• Fitting a dog for a dumbbell
• Retrieve – what it is and how to do it
• How to teach your dog to jump a high jump, a broad jump, and the bar jump
• How to teach signals, scent articles, directed retrieve, moving stand, and directed jumping
